Religous Liberty Update #2
.
By Richard Klinedinst, rklinedinst1@verizon.net

Goals for 2010

Freedom of conscience is one of our most treasured possessions in these United States of America. We cannot, we must not, take this precious freedom for granted. We have all heard those famous words by one of our nations Founders--“The price of liberty is vigilance.” If we fail to live up to that responsibility we shall pay dearly.
In order to avoid that I shall hold myself and the religious liberty department of the York Seventh Day Adventist church to a high standard of accountability during 2010. Here are three goals I would like to achieve this year.

GOAL #1 ---- Put Liberty magazine into the hands of at least 100 “thought leaders” in our community.

GOAL #2 ---- To keep before the people, both church members and the public, issues relating to our liberties by publishing a series of “Updates’’ during this year, hopefully at least one per month. This will be done in the following avenues:

E-mail ---- printed form ---- and the church web-site .

GOAL #3 ---- To form a committee of three persons to conduct “brain-storming” sessions on how to get the attention of our community leaders, alerting them concerning threats to our religious and civil liberties.
I solicit your earnest prayers in this endeavor.
